Nurturing: The Secret Ingredient to Thriving
In the endless hustling and bustling that drive our life pursuits, have you ever wondered why some people effortlessly radiate warmth - that comes from deep within their souls - that glow?
π‘This is not just good lighting, rather more often than not, it is the special effect of the *nurturing touch* that keeps them grounded, balanced and thriving.
Nurturing anyone is like carefully tending to a garden to ensure it blooms, brings forth the expected fragrances in that delightful ambiance.
Of a truth, this is just not about taking care of others: whether from a kind word, carefully tending to a simple gesture or just being present, rather it is also about showing yourself some love too.
With every twist and turn in today's fast paced world, nurturing can feel like a slow dance: purposeful, soothing, and yet so vital to our well-being.
To have grown up from childhood to adulthood, surrounded by those who genuinely care for us makes all the difference, it is such a huge blessing.
Truly, life can get really tough and quite daunting - as we say *life happens*. So, often times than not feelings of sadness, regret or even depression sneak in. While it is important to acknowledge these feelings, it is equally vital not to let them linger nor take root.
Nurturing yourself (self-care) whether through connection, positive routines, or just giving yourself grace, breathing space, will go a long way to help ease that weight.
π‘Selah (one of my favorite words): pause and meditate. Take a much needed break. Breathe. Connect with those who uplift you. You certainly deserve to be refreshed.
When you nurture with intention, you not only help others flourish but also recharge your own batteries and get your spirit lifted.
We must keep this momentum going on with one kind word, one thoughtful gesture at a time.
How do you nurture yourself or others when life gets a little heavy?
